This is your pedal if you are looking for a raw/crude heavy distortion, just the sound I wanted. Even at 25% of its full power (knobs at 9 o'clock), it sounds heavier than the Boss ODB-3 at its maximum. Not recommended if you are just looking for a soft disto xD

I was simply amazed when I turned the Communist Pig on... it offers exactly the sound I was looking for (don't buy this pedal if you want a smooth ODB3-like disto). Even with the disto knob at its minimun, you will have a clean crunchy raw sound, and the two band eq allows you to boost both low and high end, enabling a destructive heavy sound. The only downside I found is that it starts buzzing (as most distortion pedals) when you raise the distortion knob to higher levels.
