The Acoustic B100 combo is designed for club and live applications where the sound of its 15" bass driver will fill the room with warmth and punch. It pumps 100 watts RMS into the internal speaker, delivering the classic Acoustic pro's tone in a portable, powerful design.

The two bass inputs are designed to accommodate both active and passive bass instruments while the Gain and Volume controls give you complete authority over the character of your tone. Increase the Gain for some old-school rock tones, or lower it and turn up the volume for great, clean classic or funk tones. The preamp includes a very natural and tube-like compression as well as a harmonically rich distortion circuit, which keeps your tone musical-even at high volume levels.

The B100 also includes a notch filter to tailor your mids and a four-band EQ that provides total control over your tone. The parallel Effects Loop allows you to use your bass effects in the signal chain, or you can use theEffect Send as a Line Out to a recording or live mixing board. The series extension speaker jack provides an output for an additional cabinet such as the Acoustic B115 or B410.

The heritage of Acoustic comes through loud and clear in the B100.

Good Sounding Amp

I bought this amp to leave to leave at church for use with our Praise Team. It has a nice deep bass tone and everyone commented on how good it sounded. By using the recommended settings from the user manual as a starting point, I was able to dial up a sweet tone in just a few minutes. The overall finish of the amp looks good. The grill cloth is a little light duty but it looks good. The light blue trim gives the amp a cool vintage vibe. The power output is about what I expected from a 100 watt bass combo and the amp is plenty loud enough for small to medium venues. If you're planning on playing loud rock or metal, then you'll need at least the 200 watt combo. Which is exactly what I did - I liked the little 100 watt combo so much, I ordered the 200 watt 410 half stack to use in my Christian rock band. If you're needing a good solid bass amp at a good price - buy it - you'll like it.

I bought this amp about a month ago. I was looking for an amp that would provide some stage volume and decent tone. While in Guitar Center, I had an informal combo shoot-out and this one won hands-down! Somehow, these guys captured the spirit of the orginal Acoustic tone when they came out with this one! I played through the originals and they were total BEASTS!!! There is a reason they are as legendary as Godzilla! Well, the Acoustic people did a good job on this one. It has a good bottom end, good tone controls and a passable stage volume. At 100 watts, i'm really at the threshold of needing a bigger amp, but piping this one through the p.a. solves that problem. I'm sad that I didn't get the 200 watt version, but hey for the $ you can't beat this one! The tone is awesome and there's plenty of 100 watt bottom end. I'm happy enough with the purchase, as i said, in my own combo shootout, for the money, the Peaveys, Crates, Rolands, Fenders, and the rest could not touch the tone and volume for the money! Buy this one if you need to without hearing it, I guarantee for the money you will be blown away!

I have owned this amp for about a year. This is the best bass combo amp in its class. You can dial in any sound you want if you know how to adjust the EQ. Sounds MUCH better than the Ampeg solid state combos for a lot less money.

Awesome amp. Gives me a lot of volume and power from such a small amp. Its great for moving around. It actually fits in my rather small backseat and that makes it great. It is somewhat heavy but thats cool. Definitely worth having.
