The 8x10" speaker array is the ultimate bass cabinet configuration, and few 8x10s are more iconic than Acoustic's B810. The distinctive giant blue stripe is a sure sign that you've got a thundering, floor-rattling, earthshaking bass sound. With its power rating of 800W RMS, you know that something intense is about to blast out from behind the B810's grille. Adding an on/off switchable high horn driver, the B810 speaker cabinet roars.

Acoustic has designed the massive B810 cab with easy transportation in mind. In addition to imparting a tight punch to your sound, the sealed cabinet keeps your electronics safe from tough conditions on the road or in rehearsal. The heavy-duty bar handle on top of the angled rear surface—plus oversized nylon casters and a thick steel kick plate—make it simple to grab, push, and roll. Rear skid rails let you use leverage to lean and push it into most vehicles without ever having to lift it. For those who do need to lift it, the B810 bass cab includes spring-loaded handles on the bottom so multiple people can easily grab onto it at once.

The B810 bass cabinet has the distinctive Acoustic look—nickel corners, black cloth grille, and the iconic giant blue stripe—telling the world that you're packing the power of the distinctive Acoustic sound that so many great bassists have called their own.

I had one when I first started playing bass back in the 70's. I loved the sound but thought that's because I didn't know much yet. I've experimented with every configuration and bass and one thing I've learned the hard way is a boutique price tag does NOT make it good. I have an Acoustic 8x10 cabinet that I pump 700 watts thru on a weekly basis. I play a Tobias, MusicMan, 51 Fender and a Thunderbird and their unique sounds all come thru without a hitch. I just love this cabinet. Sometimes your first choice is your best choice.

This thing is a monster. The tone it delivers with a 6 string ibanez is clear as crystal from the low b to the high b. Design wise it's ok, nothing special, tho rather ugly with the retro blue in the middle. I very much plan on getting 2 of these cabs once i get my 2 ohm head.

Since my last review I actually blew one of the 10 inch speakers. My local music store replaced the cabinet within 24 hours, no questions. Can't beat the service. Current settings for large venues: Musicman 4 stg Sterling bass with D'Addario 45-105 nickels. Pre amp is set just below clipping. Master @ 9 oclock or 10:30 on scale. Bass knobs- 40 @ 3 oclock, 120 @ 1 or 2 oclock depending on venue. Mids both @ 1 oclock, and high @ 12or 1 oclock. If you consider this unit, try it with your bass and find the setting to fit your own needs.

Had to write this. I came out or retirement and use to use the Acoustic 360 and Sunn coliseums in the 70's. Recently sold an SVT Classic 2 years ago. I was interested in the 600H head and B810 cab but was skeptical of the unit due to the price. I have many units in the past for large shows. Mesa Boogie,GK,Peavey,Ampeg. 1. The unit is very reliable, but the tolex could be a higher quality. 2. The sound differance can be dramatic with the bass used and strings used. This was one point I prefered over the Ampeg SVT which tends to sound similar with all gear. 3. The cab is made from mdf board with a front plywood panel. Internal baffles are extensive to give solid sound reproduction. The unit is extremely loud and can produce a great variety of sounds. For the price it can't be beat. I did a comparison of the unit with an SVT at a guitar cntr all things equal , the Acuostic more versitile and had a greater projection. Using 2 cabs can shake a foundation. 4. I do wish the company had a real location and built road cases but had to have this done $610 per case. 5. I use it, play it hard, and love it. I reccomend it but it may be a hard sale to loyal users of other brands because it is LESS EXPENSIVE!

I bought this cabinet last week and I've never been happier with my sound. Why pay more?? I run a 700 watt head thru the cab and it kicks hard. We had a gig Thursday and I enjoyed telling the guitarist, "Hey.... can you turn UP?" PRICELESS!!!!!
