The best thing about this massive air-moving marvel? It's a bass cabinet that's way lighter than most comparable 8x10 cabs and is easy to move thanks to a tilt-back design with built-in rear-mounted wheels (less prone to tipping) and recessed top- and side-mounted deep-dish handles. Plus, your sound benefits from the speaker cab's 4 custom-designed, cast-frame Aguilar 12" bass speakers with 56 oz. magnets. They easily handle all the lows while keeping things nice and punchy. Adjust the custom crossover and phenolic tweeter right on the back of the cab to dial in just the right amount of high-end snap.

All Aguilar GS Series cabinets feature cast-frame drivers, phenolic tweeters with integral phase plug, variable tweeter level control, Neutrik Speakon and 1/4" inputs, 7-ply, void-free Philippine mahogany construction, and interlocking corners.

Aguilar GS 412 Bass Cabinet Features:

  • Top- and side-mounted handles
  • Built-in rear mounted wheels
  • 4 - 12" cast frame woofers w/56 oz. magnets
  • Phenolic tweeter with integral phase plug
  • Custom crossover with variable tweeter control

Thunder Box!!

I have owned this cabinet for about a year now. I never got to test it first. Just by reading other's reviews, I decided to take a chance and try it. The GS412 is simply superb. It can handle super high volumes from my QSC 2450 amp using the ART Pro Channel Tube preAmp. My Warwick not only "Growls" but its got fangs. It handles the slap tones like a MarkBass. The downside ...it tips the scale over 110 lbs. but once transported and set up, you are in bass heaven.

Thundering bass! What more can I ask for? If stolen, I would buy it again.

Buy it. It's worth every penny!

NO MORE BLOWN SPEAKERS

I've been playing for over 30 years and have always played 10s. Most often when you're in a setting where there's no house support you might get lost in the mix. I've blown 10s trying to hold my own. Now that's not a problem. The power rating on this cab along with the 12s give me what I need no matter what environment. Peace of mind is what it all comes down to. I also use the DB750. Punch, midrange, growl, twang from my fender jazz is not lost at all. I have to say 12s are the new 10s for me.

Ear pounding low end that is also, quite precise due to the 12's instead of a slower 15. The 12's put out so much more low end than 10's that I'll never go back. This is THE best bass cabinet out there.

This is a fine cab, lots of bottom and plenty handling power. But is very heavy.
