Great tone if you sit around and record or play along to CD's. If you play out in a band you can feel the bass, you just can't hear it. Very tough to dial in a sound that stands out from the band

WAY over priced. Under-powered. Cool sound, good for a studio, but one of the last things you would ever want to be towing around live. Get a real vintage one

I love my new B-15, I have had 2 older models and this new one blows them away. I use it in my studio and it sounds Great! I always run it on high power (100 w) and I did change the speaker to a white frame Lansing.

If you are looking for authentic early B15 sound this is not the amp for you. Even at 100 watts it was underpowered, heavy and overpriced. Just getting you name in lights on the front of the amp does not make up for poor design. My old 25 watt model fliptop has more punch. I got rid of this amp as quickly as possible. It was not good for stage, running through the board I could not get enough volume to hear myself without using additional monitors. Got a B100R and have been totally happy with it at 1/4 the price. I tried both my vintage '66 Precision and Pedulla ET5 and the amp did not like either one.

Nice sound for a little combo for practice or recording. Not a great amp if you play live unless its a very small venue or you are plugged in something else. Beautiful ampeg sound, but if you play modern rock or heavy metal, look around some more. It is great for other types of music.
