The Aria SB-404 5-string electric bass guitar is an answer to the professional player's prayers. The bass's Ovangkol body and maple/nato 5-ply neck provide beauty, while the BDS-5 pickups bring out a deep, punchy sound that works in every genre of music. The Aria bass has a stained-natural finish with black hardware. The body is made of ovangkol, with a maple and nato 5-ply neck-thru-body design. The rosewood fingerboard features 24 frets and a classic treble-side cutaway for upper register bass notes. Electronics on the Aria SB-404/5 consist of two BDS-5 pickups. Add that to a rich rosewood fingerboard and you've got the perfect recipe for deep, powerful sustain. The fingerboard inlays feature the original eye design that appeared on the Aria basses of old.

Neck-through body
The Aria SB-404/5 bass's original neck-through body is made by expert craftsmen using traditional guitar-building techniques. The Heel-less cutaway allows smooth and easy access to even the highest frets.

The SB series
The SB series is probably the most famous bass Aria has produced. It was developed to answer players' requests for an SB with a lighter body, and capturing the classic SB style and feel.
