If you play alternative and you want that seattle grunge sound this the pedal for you. It doesn't work for all music but it works for grunge.

This pedal is pretty good for the price. I just wish you could get more sound out of it, but if you a starting bass player and you want some sound get it.

Well folks, Don't let the price fool you. I bought this pedal Christmas day and got it the Thursday after. I plugged it in and oyed around with it, and sounds great. If you're wondering what it is like I was, let me tell you.

This pedal sort of boosts your bass and volume when you go into the chorus. I was playing the song "Grace like Rain" and when I hit the D going into the chorus using this pedal, it made the right effect. For really nice effects, I'd turn up the E. Level and Depth all the way up, and I have the rate at about 9 O clock. It gives me perfect sound. I'd get it just to try, and I'm sure you'll come to like it, and if you don't, you can return it for something else. I'd say buy it!

I ordered this pedal Sunday night, and now it's Thursday (good shipping time!) and I got it and plugged it up. I toyed around with things a little bit and I'm like "I love it!" This thing is great for some nice distortion! Here's what the controls do:

Rate-controls speed of the sustain. Depth-This is the distortion, which adds a cool little wah-like effect to your sustain. Very Cool for solos and high notes. It doesen't really show up a lot on your E-string, but very cool for A-G and for bass slides. E. Level-I didn't know what this meant until I toyed with it. This sort of serves as a volume control/pickup booster. It's basically an extra volume knob on steroids.

This thing is very cool, not just for beginners, I am blessed to own it, and I plan to use it all my days as a musician. Worth every single penny for some nice effects! I say buy it immediately!

For cheap it's great add distortion for a good solo it will give you good Highs and makes it sound very clean.
