The ABM 900 EVO II pumps out huge power with all the control you need to tame it!

The ABM 900 EVO II is a 2 x 575W RMS bass amp head designed to satisfy both bass purists and tech-heads alike. 3 rotary tone controls provide 20dB of cut and boost at 60Hz, 660Hz and 5kHz and are supplemented by 2 pairs of additional sliders giving 15dB cut and boost at 180Hz, 340Hz, 1.3kHz, and 2.6kHz. The EQ can be switched on/off and flat/shaped by footswitch, enabling you to go from a flat fretless sound to a boosted sound with ease. The single input is switchable for passive and active instruments. A blend of solid state and dual-triode tube preamp stages can be preset and selected by footswitch, providing access to a massive range of clean, warm, and overdriven tones.

The footswitchable subharmonic generator precisely tracks the main signal and reproduces it an octave lower. A subharmonic level control lets you add just the right amount of low-end reinforcement-everything from a subtle thickening of the sound to unbridled, bone-crushing tone.

The ABM 900 EVO II also features a front panel-mounted balanced direct out with pre- or post-EQ switching, a sub-bass output, tuner output, FX loop, and a line input for connecting an external sampler or sound source. Output muting cuts the signal from the direct out but leaves the tuner output live, allowing silent tuning. The upgraded power section has faster transient attack, more headroom, and even less noise.

I have owned this head for 6 months and have not had any problems with it yet. I run it with the abm 414t a mm stingray 5 string hh, and it sounds excellent. It has excellent low end without compromizing the mids and highs. The subharmonic and distortion drive are also cool features for this head. it is a must buy for anyone that really loves getting that rich full sound out of their bass.

I am driving the amp through 2 15s and I barley need to turn it up past about 2. I have to be careful no to blow them out because then I would have to buy the 810 cabinet to go with it. I have never heard an amp sound better. The functions of it are phenominal. Pre or post EQs available. Classic design completes the package.
