Ashdown After Eight Combo bass amp

I own this amp for about a year. It is well build with a fairly good speaker. The sound, for a small box like this, is pretty good. The case and finish of het woodwork and the electronics is good. When connected to a bigger speaker, the 15 watt amp keeps up, enough for practising. Lacks: no line-out. I put one in myself. not 110/220v switchable Hum/noise is present to much.

Overall: recommended for practising or beginner A good amp for the money.

Have been a happy owner of Ashdown products for a number of years, and so this seemed a natural choice when looking for a practice amp. As expected it had great tone, and surprisingly loud for it's size and rating. I have had the amp a couple of months, and it's developed a loud intermittent buzz without anything connected to it. Not sure if this is a general problem.
