Excellent Cab!

I ordered this amp through my local music store, and I couldn't be more happy with it. I have it paired up with a single 15" Hartke Cab and an Ashdown MAG 600 Watt Amp Head. This combination seems to be absolutely perfect, with the exception of the Hartke at times.

Anyways, this cab, when combined with a single fifteen cab, is AMAZING. When I bought it I expected it to underperform, especially since the cab was close to half the cost of competing 8x10s. Needless to say, I was soon speechless. The tone this amp gives out is enormous. It does a really good job with the low-end too, but I'd recommend getting a 15 to help fill out the low-end frequencies. I usually end up playing with my BC Rick Warlock or my Washburn fretless, and the sound is so huge it ends up drowning out all the other instruments in my band. (That says something good about the amp head too.)

I plan to use it at some shows in the near future, and plan to amaze people.

Only complaint, (kind of) is that the cab is VERY heavy. This thing is a beast when it comes to stairs, but I just assume that the weight is related to the quality materials used.

I strongly recommend this amp to all serious bass players. Buy it.

I bought this cab back in october along with Ashdown's MAG 600 head. I love this head, its the first "big amp" I've owned and I couldn't be more happy with it. It has great response, and a sturdy construction. I wish it could uphold 800 watts RMS like it says on the owner's guide. All in all its a great amp, a little on the heavy side, but I can deal with it.

if you want a relyable cab that will always keep your fans at the edge of there seats i would use this one. it is very dourable, i droped it down my stairs and it works just fine. about 800 watts of power can be ran threw this and still sound amazing.
