The sound of this is quite impressive considering that I have always played with twin 2X15's cabinets. It does give the big guns a run for their money. I wish I could afford (starving musician) a second one!

There is but one annoying drawback, however. The carry handles are not flush with the cabinet. The are rounded out beyond the cabinet. This does make it easier for carry and is great for that purpose. But this is used on a stage amp and is behind me in the jumble of other equipment where is would be great to stand on end. But the rounded handles cause the cabinet to be unstable enough that I don't dare to leave iton end. Flush in the handles, though, and this is the perfect stage amp speaker!

I own the 1x15 and the 2x10 cabinets being powered by a G-K Backline 600. Both have crapped out on me in less than a year. One of the 10" speakers has seen the aluminum cone entirely seperate from the cloth part of the speaker(exept for a 1" section where the cone actually ripped)! The other 10" is starting to go as well. Doing research, I have found this to be quite a frequent problem with the 2x10 cab. The 1x15 has just stopped working all together. I haven't had this looked at yet but I'm pretty sure it's the board in the back for the 1/4" jack thats fried. This is just terrible seeing as how they only get used once a week for about 3 hours a practice. I Will be replacing speakers with Eminence speakers as the sturdiness of the cabinets are sufficient for my needs. Overall, stay away from Behringer unless it's all you can afford, because you do get what you pay for.

Ok. I own the Behringer 2x10 combo. I don't like the hiss, and it's heavier than it probably should be. But, that sucker punches. So, over the summer I started doing gigs with a funk/r&b group playin' EWF, and Prince, and good music that everybody should know. I needed some more speaker power, and decided to purchase this one. It was between this one and a GK Goldline 2x10. 1) This cabinet is not too heavy. I can pick it up with one hand. It does have some weight to it, but not to a point to go crazy about. 2) If you plug another head to this cabinet, you will get a better tone than Behringer. I've tried it with a few high-end bass heads, and the tone was crystal clear! I was extremely impressed. 3) This cab is VERY inexpensive, AND it can push out 500watts.

I think some people may push it more than it can hold, so yes, the speakers might blow. But besides the weight, and crappy wheels, you will NOT find a better cab for this kind of price!

NOT 500 WATTS`

I own this cab. After a few monthes it started to crackle and sound muddy. So i decided to change at the speakers and put some nice eminence speakers in. What I come to discover is that this cab is not 500 watts. When i took out the speakers on the back of them it said 240 at 4 ohms. Making it a 240 watt cab at 8 ohms since they are wired parrallel. If you dont believe and own this cab take off the grill and speaker look at the stick on the magnet. I was thought something was wrong since it could barely handle any power at all.

I bought this cabinet and playing it for two days and blew both tens. Had a warranty on it so I took it back and exchanged it. Well the new one just blew out as well. It definitely can't handle much.
