I just got this amp today in the mail, at first I wasn't to happy. But it has a pretty good sound for the price; I just wish it had more effects features.

When I first got the Behringer ultrabass BX300 amp I was just starting bass, and it worked great for what I was looking for. There were enough parameters to adjust to get the sound your looking for, and the shape feature added a bit of feeling to the sound, which was great. But once I started getting serious with a band and shows, I realized it didn't provide the kick that bass players need in their amps. the volume was fairly restricted, and it didn't have the real booming sound, which brought down the experience a bit. So if your just starting bass, I would recommend this immediatley. But if you've been playing bass for awhile and need a real booming bass amp, you should look elsewhere, becuase you won't find that with this.

I have this amp and couldn't be more pleased with it. It is quite loud and can be used for practice, studio and smaller gigs. For larger gigs just patch it through the main board. Unlike some reviewers I get no hiss or white noise from this amp. The amp has a beautiful, full sound and works great with my effects pedals. I can shake the house with this little baby. If you need a good inexpensive bass amp - buy it!

I got this amp for my pratice and to be quite honest it sounds alot bigger then I imagined, the kick of this amp is awesome on the passive side me and my son play through this amp at the same time and it delivers the sound extremely well, only draw back on this amp is the vision of the control knobs when standing up, other then that this amp is the one to buy great amp for not a lot of bones. highly recommend this amp

This is an "ok" amp. I get a good slap tone with the shape button. But when you turn up the volume it begins to give off feedback or some kind of fuzz sound. It’s great for practice but not for shows.
