I play in a church musical group and this guy get lugged around home and church two days a week every week. I have had this one for three years along with my Behringer 12 channel mixer. Neither of these two items have every given me trouble. I have read all the bad reviews on both of these items and I have to say it must depend on the person. I was scared after reading the bad review after about a year but these products are going strong. My son's have taken up the guitar and bass. I am going to test out the Behringer products first. I've used other mixing boards and bass amps but I like this one. I think they have value and quality.

Within 6 months of owning this amp, the power circuit (diode bridge I guess) went bad. It was still under warranty so I drove it 2 hours to get it fixed at this really unprofessional amp repair place. They fixed it, and it's been working for the past 7 months..... As for the amp itself, it has some good features. The equalizer is pretty decent and the Ultrabass function is kinda cool to mess around with a regular guitar. However, this amp just doesn't put out that much power. during practice it has to be cranked all the way up. And if you use a bass with hot pickups, the amp will get distorted when turned up. There's no way this amp can gig unless it's with a mic or DI.

I had mine for almost 2 years. Out of warranty when something inside, eleactronically went bad. I have a friend that could repair it. Behringer wont release schematics but only to their service centers. Not good. It is not economically feasable for me to ship it and pat for repair and it is too far too drive to the nearest repair center. If you want something that you can get fixed easily, stay away from Behrigner.

I had this amp for about 6 months and it just quit working. Not sure if it is worth fixing. I had good sound when it was working. I'm surprised at Behnringer. I have had good experiences with them until this amp.

I bought this unit in February of 08. In March of 09 it just quit working. It's out of the return time and conveniently one month past the warranty expiration. Behringer has no service agents in Delaware. Seemed like a good deal at the time.
