Amps are tricky things because now they are made on the 'cheap'. If you look inside, past the nice exteriors, you will see cheap alloy metal connections that corrode very easily. Then no sound. It's not IF, but WHEN. 2nd-The way they save money, is everything is soldered onto a PC Board. One knock, and the PC board connection breaks. Buy a name brand, and have a local good amp guy, that knows the difference of why point to point handwired amps in the past-and were made obsolete by the expense and the issues I stated. All amps have to be modified with good hardware, and if isn't Mesa Boogie quality-then have your amp guy re-inforce the connections and have it checked frequently if you are even semi-pro and gigging. Even a corrosive effect loop jack not being used can shut the whole board down, so again-go name brand-and have a good amp repair guy-so the investment will last-and it should.

Behringer is a bad company. What most people don't know is that they use cheap parts in their products, this is why you will here plenty of horror stories about the amp simply dying. When they don't sometimes people like them, but I still wouldn't recommend getting one. Behringer usually generously overquotes the wattage of the amp, and lists the PEAK wattage. So this combo is more like 150W, not 300.

It arrived today, plugged in my Fender Precision (just played through '72 Bassman 100 amp this week & earlier today), and it's mud city.

Don't expect my '67 Höfner to sound any better. It's an early b-day gift from my wife, chosen for the "modern advantages". Leaves me wanting.

I dont understand how people are blowing these amps. I turn mine up all the way and the tone is still great. With my SR505. I guess only people who have problems with this amp write reviews. Buy a warantee on it. Ive had mine for about a year now and no complaints other then its heavy.

It freakin stinks. When it came out of the box I played on it for about 3 hours straight, and it shot out sparks and stopped working. I didn't do anything to it. It was on about 1/4 of the volume, DON'T GET IT!
