You are much better of to buy headphones for your amp. I figured this would be a good deal so I wouldn't disturb the neighbors when i practiced. WRONG!!!! I would rather disturb someone than be deefened by the loud staticy pops and crackles. ANd it only has 3 volume settings off low and high. And 3 sound settings bright normal and low. it is built cheap and it makes my bass sound like its built outta cardboard. Just to save you a headache. HEADPHONES and AMP plain and simple

I just got my Bass-in-a-box, and man that thing is awesome! I would never have guessed that you could get such great sound from such a tiny thing. Only wish it had more volume. Oh and the headphones that come with it suck, but you already have a decent pair, right?

I would have probably rated this considerably higher had it actually worked. Sound crackles through one headphone at really low volume, and intermittently pops in crystal clear through the other headphone at a really loud volume. The secret to getting both headphones to work at the same time is to not plug the jack all the way in, which also means that you just have to put up with it falling out instead.

I was unsure about this when I bought it, but when I got it and plugged my Thunderbird in, I knew it was a good purchase. Everyone unsure about it: Buy it. It may not have any features, but who cares! It's meant to play quietly, and it delivers. Nobody know's I'm practicing (unless they see me of course).

I bought it so I could practice without having to lug my heavy Trace Elliot around and so I could practice without bothering others in earshot. It's very basic, but does what I need it to do. I do wish it came with more options, especially volume & tone options.
