Black with Green Bevels

The Razorback V Electric Bass with active electronics looks as good as it sounds because it's a Dean. Dangerous-looking edges are highlighted by sleek bevels on the body and mirrored on the famous Dean headstock. V inlays with Dime's razorblade at the twelfth fret plus all black chrome hardware make this electric bass wickedly stunning.

The Dean Razorback V Bass features a mahogany neck and body, a rosewood fretboard and active pickups for powerful, perfect bass tone. The V-shape neck has a strong, set join. 24 fast frets facilitate wicked, steam-engine basslines and lightning quick changes. Three-way switching, volume and tone control keep things simple, yet tonally flexible.

Dimebag Darrell Abbott's return to Dean Guitars was one of the many things cut far too short by his death near the end of 2004, but his many drawings and ideas have kept the guitar makers at Dean inspired. The Razorback V was one of Darrell's final designs, and we're sure it will inspire you, too!

I've been playing bass for about 6 years now, and I've never played a bass that has blown me away like the Dean Dime Razorback V! Not only did it live up to all my expectations, but it went above and beyond what I expected.(And I expected big from Dean, by far my favorite brand)This bass plays beautifully smooth, looks absolutely wicked, and it is light enough to play extended gigs without wearing you out. My only minor gripe would be that its kinda easy to chip the points on it if you're not careful. I would definitely call this one a must buy!

I Bought one of these a couple of months back. I also own an Ibanez BTB, that comes nowhere near this. Dean have put their heart and soul into making this bass. It is by far the most recomendable bass to buy. It is astounding. Also goes nicely with my Ashdown. Many thanks for reading. Danny, Bassist of, An Hour Of Ruin.
