THIS BASS IS HORRIBLE! The neck is SO slow, finish scracthes easy, has almost no tone. But a good value if your broke otherwise save your money and buy a squier(sounds just as good as fender).

I got this bass as my first bass for christmas. It is a decent bass for the price but one week after I bought it it stoped working I checked the amp. The amp was fine the pots on it stoped working. I got new pots but I still wasen't working so I tried the pickup. And the pickup was broken.

This is my 1st bass and I like the way it sounds through my peavey max 126 bass amp. This is a very good bass for a beginner to start with. I've gotten used to how the bass feels and now I dont have to worry so much about fret buzz. In the beginning for a starter you'll worry about frett buzz but when you learn how to position your hands it wont be a big deal. If you want to get a good beginners bass at an affordable rate then get this bass. Its been a couple of months and I've had no problems with it. I love the way it sounds. Buy it along with a peavey max 126 bass amp (if your a beginner) and you'll have a nice clean sound and if you want a smooth sound then just click in the vintage mode on the amp and put the nob up half way on the volume of the amp and on the vintage setting then crank up the volume on your bass and crank up the tone knob a little bit and have a good time. GET IT!!!

A good starter bass, but I recomend that if you are planing on playing to any audience you should definatly consider geting a bass with more features and a better sound. The Dean Edge is a guitar for someone who is just starting to play the bass and wants a cheap bass but still has a good enough quality for reagular lessons.

I have recently recieved this bass almost a month ago now and to my suprise, the Bass rivals a lot of the other big named basses out there and the price is absolutely amazing. It comes with a crappy input jack, bad tuning knobs, but somewhat decent strings. First off replaced the standard strings with Ernie Ball Custom Gauge Slinky strings once I had officially broken the other ones in. The fret buzz can be eliminated by getting a simple new bridge ANY new bridge will completely eliminate the buzz. Great product, very satisfied!
