the bass is not terrible it feels okay and is not too heavy the strings are a little far from the neck but the bass holds tune well the gig bag is fine the tuner is better used as a metredome and you can get like 2 or 3 different tones out of the amp its good for pratice the picks are a little to flimsy for my style but i dont use picks often and the cord is fin overall this is good to start off but if you have a bass allready this is a waste but a good first purchase

this is a great bass package if, like one comment said, you are just trying out bass. however if you do actually like playing bass, sell it and buy something nice. the amp is terrible, it distorts anything on the E string not to mention D. the guitar is alright. its frets give off a lot of buzz with the strings that come on it, which are terrible. the cable out is really fragile, and comes loose very easily.

Seriously dont waste your money. Anyone who said this is even worth getting obviously knows absoutly nothing about basses. The amp sounds almost as distorted as my ODB-3 pedal with anything past 5. Dont waste your money and be fooled by the stars

I had this set for awhile, the only problem I had was that the neck needed adjusting. The amp is weak and only good for practice, but the quality for mine was great for the money. If you know someone who can adjust necks, then it's a great value. I kept the bass for practicing, the amp I got rid of, but the neck still needs work. I use this one for drop D tuning.

This bass pack is ONLY good if someone needs to see if they like bass without blowing alot of money. But the downside is if they enjoy it, they will probably going to want to upgrade almost instantly. Your better off spending more for a midrange bass where at least if you dont like it you could get some money for it and if you do, you wont have to upgrade right away
