Very solid bass, great starter! I recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap but good bass!

I got this bass about three months ago and I absolutely love it. I use this through a Peavey amp and the sound is spectacular. The only problem I have with the sound is that if you have the amp on, and you're not playing any notes, you can here a very faint buzzing sound coming from my amp, but I'm not sure if it's the amp's fault or the bass's fault. This isn't a problem if you are playing a concert in a medium-sized room or an auditorium though. The build of the guitar is very strong. It is almost immune to nicks and scratches. (unless you smash it around) I love the neck and fingerboard;the wood is very smooth and doesn't get annoying to hold after a while. Overall, I believe this is a great bass for starting bassists because it's not too expensive and it's just plain awesome!

This is the best tone for the money. I use a BP50 through it and it sounds mad!!!!! If you want good clean tone you can crunch with buy this bass.
