Ive been playing Guitar for a long time and I picked one of these up for Recording, and also just to have one in short notice. I don't know much about Basses, But I know enough that this is good. Tone-wise you can get just about anywhere, and the Pickup can handle everything. Its lightweight and has a good point of balance, good tuners, sturgy knobs.. The other main problem is that the Dtraplocks look like they're made out of Flimsy plastic, and the little nut on the output jack likes to unscrew, but these arent big problems Overall, Considering the price, 5/5.

Good bass. I just got it today, and it feels great. Good sound. A great cheap bass. Buy this steal while you can.

My main bass

After years of not playing bass (being mainly a guitarist), I picked up the bass guitar once again to play in a punk rock band (in the style of Buzzcocks, The Jam, Vice Squad, etc). I needed a cheap instrument, but not one that would fail me. This bass in particular has a great soapbar pickup that really likes the low frequencies, which is helpful to me because it helps fill out the sound in a one guitar, no solo kind of outfit. The Zone has been my main bass for about 5 months now, and there has been no looking back. Through an old Fender guitar head and 4x10 cab, this thing cuts through in just the right way for the style of music I am playing. With a pickup upgrade, this bass may outlast me.

I own it and its not a bad bass. Good if its your first bass or you just want one. I bought this aroud last christmas and about 6 months later the pickups stopped working. I used it at shows and it got knocked around alot. It is easy to fix but I recomened this to any beginer.

I got this bass a few months ago as a practice bass. Within maybe 2 months, I got the fret buzz on the 4th fret and it keeps coming back. The tone knob fell off but I play with a low tone so it doesn't matter. But this is a nice bass for people who want to start, but try getting a pack.
