I finally got to try this awesome little device. After reading other reviews on here, I am wondering why people are saying what they are. With distortion this probably sounds like poop but why does bass need distortion??? It doesn't have a turn off function but when it's pressed all the way back(not flat) you get a normal sound out of it. Depending on how fast or slow you press it, you get a wide array of sounds. I fell in love this this pedal and it sounds great even for slap but definitely for plucked(because picks aren't meant for bass). Great pedal, great value, try it out and heck buy it. For people who say it doesn't, you probably have a faulty one, it happens.

I've been playing guitar for 4 years and this is the most over-rated peice of equipment i've ever used. It pumps way too much distortion into the amp creating a muddy crackling sound. Anyone who already has a good strong bass sound is hearby advised to try something else.

I got this wah today and I love it. I'm a left handed bassist and was expecting something decent. When I tested it out in the store it was awsome. I have been playing guitar for about a year and 9 months and I have been playing bass for about 6 months. The only bad part is that it has abit too much resitance. But if you are going to get a bass wah, get the Cry Baby 105Q.

I've had this thing for roughly two years now. It is a solid device, being manufactured in the US. You have a volume knob and a variable Q knob, which should be self explainatory [One controlling volume, the other controlling the range of the effect]. It is quite convenient that it turns on when you start to press on it, as I was never fond of having to turn a wah pedal on/off manually. Of course this is a wah pedal, and you know what to expect. The great thing about this one is it leaves your lows in place, while using your highs for the effect. Perfect for a Bassist, in my opinion.

My only real gripe is that for awhile it stopped turning off when I took my foot off for a second. It began operating normally with a renewed constant use, as I had stopped using it for a few months prior to that. My battery shell broke, but thats due to my own negligence.

I'd highly recommend this to any bassist. I would not hesitate to order a new one if my current one was lost or stolen.

I bought this to get some awesome Commerford sounds, and it definately Does the job, combine it with a distortion pedal though, sounds great!!! Set the distortion pedal EQ to high, get some two hand tapping going and add wah, sounds awesome- Van Halenish at times!!!
