Been gigging this amp for over a year now and it hasn't let me or anyone else down. It caters to all sized gigs and even supports personal practicing. The EQ section is off the handle giving you more control than most people know what to do with! Enhance knob.. what else really needs to be said. A little goes a long way and it adds to the amazing versatility of this amp. For anyone who's ever used one of these monsters you know what I'm talking about. I personally run mine through the Eden D610XLT bridged and I can't ever see the need for anything bigger to be honest. Recording with the WT800 is nothing short of a dream as well. Almost completely flat and use just a dash of enhance and presto, instant recordable tones to satisfy even the worst critics. It's simply the touring standard for a reason, bar none.

I had an SWR SM 900 and I now have the WT800. There is no comparison in the sound of the two amps. The Eden is by far the best amp for any sytle of bass playing. I am now selling my SWR to purchase an additional Eden WT 800.

I own this amp and love it. I moved from SWR to Eden a few years ago and haven't looked back once.

This amp will work in nearly every situation you could imagine. Sound men will love you for not having to do anything to fix you in the mix. It is clear, powerful, pounding, growling, buttery smooth.

Stop reading and buy this amp.

This amp is incredible: it sounds great, it doesn't need tweaking to achieve great sound, it's got more power than you could need, and it's composed of two separate 400w amps. You can hook up to four 8ohm cabs to it, or two 4 ohm cabs, or bridge one 8 ohm cab (mono bridge). It is much lighter than many amps, like ampeg svts (26 pounds vs 80 pounds). It is a hybrid amp, so the tube preamp creates a great sound. The D.I works GREAT in studio, and if wou play live, and overheat the amp, it will automatically shut down, while still remain "on" so the crowd still hears you even if you don't hear yourself, but that's just if you play too loud. The only reason why some people don't like this amp is that some of them have had issues for repairing, but mine never had any problems yet in 5 years.

Best bass amp head ever!

Hooked up to the Hartke cabinets I got with it, this head is the best amp head I've ever had. I've used Hartke's, Carvins, and even Line 6;s with their good yet pathetically unreal tone, this thing gives you 100 percent real tone. Eden knows how to make the best bass amps, and after having an Eden combo amp I finally worked up the money to get this thing, it was worth the buy.
