Amazing amp!

This has been a great amp for me so far. I paired it up with an Ampeg SVT210 pro and a Ampeg SVT212 cabs. It drives them both very nicely. The tone is fantastic and very flexible like all eden amps. They packed a tone of features in the this small package.

The DI sounds great for recording. I couldn't be happier. It is my all in one amp for live and recording and weighs less than 5 pounds.

Anyone who says they need a louder amp is either insane or is playing arena shows. If you are playing at a club and need to be louder, that is what the PA is for. With my 10's and 12's this amp is LOUD!

I am sure there are plenty of expensive, boutique, better sounding and louder amps out on the market but for me this does exactly what I need it to do and really does deliver the eden tone even though it doesn't have the pre-amp tubes that other eden world tour amps have. The Golden Ear chip is by far the best substitute for tubes in a solid state amp.

Eden WTX260 = Great Sounding Amp

I big rig is an Eden Navigator with a Crown XTI2000. This rig is pretty heavy so I was looking for something lighter for gigs when my main rig is too big. I bought my WTX260 used for $350. I couple the WTX with my Epifani UL210 and it handles most small and medium rooms. It gives me that great Eden tone at a fraction of the weight of my main rig.

The WTX easily fits into the front pocket on my gig bag so it makes unloading and loading a breeze! Oh, the WTX will also drive my Eden DXLT212 cabinet nicely.

Best bass amp

I have used the WTX 260 for long enough to give it a 5 star recommendation. Nothing is going to sound better than this. I play jazz, pop, and just about anything under the sun. I’m real picky about tone and even my former Demeter and Crown set-up takes a back seat to it. I’m done with hauling around heavy equipment. I can’t imagine who would not love this amp.

Amazing

Hands down the best bass amp I have ever owned in my 38 year playing career. Better than the Super Redhead or any of the SWR amps I have, and they sound damn good. Has a warm, clean, dynamic and very muscular tone. Very musical pre-amp makes nearly any bass sound like a million bucks.(I use the Enhance control but otherwise run the front end totally flat and use my bass tone controls for coloration. I use 18 volt active basses.) Very loud for its size, even when driving an 8 ohm load. (I drive a 12 year old Eden D410T with it.) I keep looking for the tubes, but there aren't any. A great sounding little, and I mean little (4 lbs.) bass amp. Auditioned it for 5 minutes and bought it. If you are a serious player that truly cares about your sound, you NEED this amp.

Great little box

Reviewer's Background: occasional gigger

I bought my WTX-260 to replace an Eden WT-400 that was too big and heavy to travel easy, and more powerful than I needed. This little box has all the tonal variation of the big box, over half the power, and weighs a fraction of what the 400 weighed. The WTX-260 has enough power for any club gig (unless you play death metal) yet it'll fit in the accessory pocket of your gig bag. Great main rig, and a great backup to any Eden amp. It should be obvious that I'm very happy with it!
