I bought this Electro-Harmonix Bass Big Muff Pi because I wanted to sound like another guy's sound. I got way much more than I thought I was gonna get, because I got that heavy sound I wanted. This is hands down the best money I've ever invested when it comes to my equipment. The Bass Boost Gives you the deep sound i want, and then the Normal setting gives you the classic Big Muff Sound. And the Dry setting is hands down indescribable. Amazing pedal.

This little pedal allows you to go to any extreme of distortion or fuzz. From Cliff Burton's "Anesthesia" to Muse's "Hysteria" I've found you can get the right tone for whatever you want. It's my first pedal, but I don't see needing another one for quite some time.

The best distortion/fuzz pedal for bass I've ever purchased. I usually have the toggle switch in the dry position to mix the dry and the fuzz sound together. It doesn't cut the low frequencies out of the sound like most pedals for bass too. Nice warm fuzz with out the harshness that others have. I'd buy this pedal again if mine ever broke.

I have been using a guitar distortion pedal for about 3 years now, the nice deep/warm bass sound gets totally mutilated by the guitar pedal. However the is pedal is excellent for bass no loss of tone and sick features to match it's awsome value, if mine were to ever break I would certainly buy again. Great buy alltogether!
