This is my first bass. The ebony looks AMAZING in real life. I was expecting the gig bag to be too small like in the other reviews, but it fit fine. (Although I switched it for my Warwick Rockbag). The head phones are decent, and the amp is small but decent. The tuner is good too. The only things I would fix is the amp has some buzz on it all the time, and there is fret buzz on the E and D string but that's easy to fix. Great buy.

I ordered this Bass as a beginner and I am not dissapointed at all. The action on it sounds great and the guitar looks better in hand than on the website. The only problem that I had was that the gig bag is too small. Everything else in the package is a good deal.

i love this guitar it is amazing i just got it two days ago and i love it but the thing is the gig bag doesnt work for crap but everytin else is pretty much ok with this guitar is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, i've had this guitar for about a month now, and let me say that it is AMAZING. I thought this would sound like just some muddy starter bass but this guitar has amazing punch, clarity, and brightness. With 2 humbuckers and tone controls, you can do anything from The Beatles to Led Zeppelin to The Ramones on this bass. You might want to order some new strings directly with the guitar though, the stock strings are terrible (but they usually are. The only thing wrong with the pack is that the gig bag does not fit the bass all the way. Way to go Epiphone. And, the amp isn't the greatest, so if you're a starter and think you sound awful, it's (probably) the amp. Overall, VERY impressed with Epiphone's quality, and I plan to buy several more Epiphone's in the future. If you are a parent looking to get your kid a bass, look no further.
