If you love it louder than Hell, Epiphone's Nikki Sixx Blackbird electric bass guitar is the axe for you. A pair of DeepSixx humbuckers give it thunderous output, especially since they are wired direct and have an on/off toggle as the only control. There's no volume knob it's either full on or turned off. Another innovative feature is the Opti-Grab device which lets you solidly anchor your hand while picking at the bridge to get that hard drive. Black finish, black hardware, black pickguard, and iron cross inlays give it the signature Sixx look.

Epiphone Nikki Sixx Signature Blackbird Bass Guitar Features:

Built For The Stage

Easier to use then the instructions on shampoo, and nothing to get in the way. Flip one switch and you go from 0-60 in less then a second. The Drag Car of bass guitars is built like a tank and with out a doubt rock and roll cool looks with its flat black paint, iron cross paint job, and clear pick guard. I tour with three of these over the last three tours (that is 135 shows) 2 albums and 6 separate recording sessions (for other bands), and I have never been let down even once by this bass. This bass is very loud (louder pick ups then my active pick up basses) and growly,,, not your daddies jazz bass! This thing is built for its one true home the stage. Oh did I mention that is was designed by the god of rock bass Mr. Nikki Sixx! This bass's sound is being slapped in the face and kicked in the chest at the same time. Pairs nicely with an 8x10 and some overdrive.

OMG!!!

The bass is light, sleek, badass, has gut-punching sound and when striked with a pick has more of an attack sound than bass sound. This bass is awesome yes, the opti-grab sounds and looks like it would be comfy to handle with but its not for my taste, unless you get used to it like I am. There really is down fall to this bass. Now this bass is meant to be played loud... literally! The first time I plugged this black beauty in and struck a note it was LOUD!!! I only had the volume on my amp to about a quarter of the way up and this baby ROARED!!! It sounded like I had the volume way up to the max and then some! I really am not being biased but this is an awesome bass for a great price. IF you have ANY questions about this bass..how it feels, plays, comfort, w/e it may be contact me. Thank you
