Some of the best things are still made in the USA!

I came across one of these in butterscotch blonde in my local music store, after 5 minutes I had to have it. I sold every bass I owned at the time(2 BC Rich & 1 mexi Fender) to cover the cost of it. It sounded great with the every set of strings I tried out but it sounds incredible with Rotosound flats. Smooth fast neck, well balanced, feels comfortable on your body even after hours on your feet, stays in tune forever, great variety of tones from just one tone knob and the S1 switch and is virtually indestructible. My bass took two nasty falls onto hard floors and stayed in one piece and in tune. I own a Gibson T-bird and I have played Rickenbackers, Warwicks, Ernie balls, and many other higher end basses. If I could only have one bass for the rest of my life, this would be it.

This bass is AMAZING! I used to play a Samick Greg Bennett Fairlane. This is a HUGE jump. It plays so nice and feels so fast. It sounds great and looks beautiful (I have a black one with a black pickguard.) I would recommend anyone to buy this. even pros. It's awesome for rock and hard rock!

Now this is a Fender Bass! Trust me folks, don't go cheap with the Mexican Fenders, the American series of Fenders are the real deal. The American Precision has quality unlike the Mexi-Fenders. Mine set up PERFECTLY the way I wanted it. The only complaint I have are the tuning machines. They are not fastened very well to the headstock and they turn very "grity" like. Other than that, the Fender American Precision Bass is simple, built well, and 100% Fender!

Nothing left out - Nothing better.

I have owned about fifty bass guitars in my thirty-seven years of life from Tobias, Lakland, Ibanez, Rickenbacker, Warwick, Music Man, Warrior, Dean, B.C.Rich and I could go on. I listed not for pretentious pride but to show the large disparity of bass guitars I have owned to weigh in against the Fender American Precision Bass - and unfortunately the P-Bass beat the crap out of them all at the weigh in - the others never even make it to the ring. The P-Bass provides the crisp, punchy treble bass players crave without sacrificing the rib rockin' lows that are a must in our line of work. You cannot, will not ever find a better bass guitar, period. I have played Fodera, Pedulla and bass guitars that cost $10,000.00 plus! but none of them could match the simplicity and perfection that comes with a Fender P-Bass. So, let me save you some time and money and go ahead and concede the fact that you won't find a better bass. The toughest decision now is what color? IMHO the best is, my own baby, the Candy Cola with maple neck and fretboard. So what are you waiting for...charge one, it is worth it!!!!!!

Only owned this bass for two days however I never want to use another bass!! Perfect tone and very playable. I've been after a certain sound since I started playing bass seven years ago and couldn't create it with my previous basses however I get that sound out of this and any other sound that I desire... If your thinking about a new bass, look no further!
