Nice little (with big sound) amp

i bought one of these in June 2007...the first one i bought was dead out of the box...it was a hassle getting a new one, but i don't know if Fender or the lazies at the music shop are to blame for that...well, i got the new one in July 2007 and have been blown away since...i use it at home for practice, at church, at closed venue gigs, even rig it to play music from my mp3 player at family gatherings and parties...i play a five-string fender and a baby electric stand-up, and i can get the sound i want from both instruments from this little guy...so, other than the initial hiccup, this amp has done me well...i gave value four stars because for the money, in my humble opinion, nothing beats a Hartke, but this is a Fender amp, so you will pay a little extra just for the name...but all in all, when coupled with a trustworthy, reliable vending source you can't go wrong with this amp...

This Amp has been a nightmare. First one I bought was dead out of the box. Replacement worked great for a few months until it died. Went to a Fender Repair Shop to repair (under warrenty but just another hassle again). Worked great for several more months - then died again during a gig! Went back for repair (Still under warranty, more time and hassle). Lost all trust in Fender Amps. Finally exhanged for a Harke Amp which reliable and works great.

Great little amp for the money. It fills the small church I play in and stands up to our drummer. The line out is great and the warm tone it gives is just right. It also does well for acoustic gigs outdoors. I rarely have to crank her past halfway to keep up with the drummer. Dont get me wrong for bigger venues and for just playing LOUD this little gem is no Bassman 400, but she does fine in the small spaces.

Very Nice Amp To Have

Ok, this is a extremely nice amp in general. With its warm but very punchy sound i love it. My father bought me this amp along with a Fender Jazz Bass for the local high school jazz band, and it did very well to keep up with all the laying of the others and was easly portable. This amp is a must have! The only bad thing is with this amp is it has some distortion sound when you turn it up all the way, but there is not anything wrong with that. And the only other thing bad about it that I have experienced is.... the light switch when you power the amp up, burns out... But other than that which has nothing to do with the amp it is a must have!!

One day, when I was at band practice, I got to use this tiny combo. I was playing with one guitarist and a drummer, and you could hear me perfectly over everyone. and that was at half volume. Also, I got the real tone out of my J-Bass that I wanted. YOU CAN HOLD UP TO A DRUMMER WITH THIS AMP!!!
