The Bassman 115 bass cabinet was designed to provide solid, full tone. And with 500 watts programmable power (250 watts continuous) at 8 ohms, one Fender Special Design 15" Eminence speaker and a compression driver horn with full attenuator, it's ideal for medium power usage.

Ok, I gave this a 5 on features because It's a cabinet, so what features can they really have to earn a five, other than just working right, you ask? Well, most 15" cabs have a horn, but with this one, you can actually control the output level of the horn, beyond just turning it on and off (or some that can't even be turned off, period, without disconnecting internal wiring.) This really helps, especially if you have a noisy head, and if you're buying something in this price range, like me, then you probably do. The quality is what you'd expect from Fender, despite the fact that It is manufactured overseas. Very nicely put together, real plywood, and very light and maneuverable with the removable casters, which I found helpful. I use two of these cabinets stacked (instead of using a more common 4x10) with an Ashdown Mag 300 head. Let me tell you, I'm pleased, but it took a little while. I was a little disappointed at first at its ability to take the lows at ear-bleeding volumes for live performances, but if you work with equalization, and learn to compromise, you can get there. Remember, this is only a $300 cabinet, and for the money, it is well worth it.

We used to have one of these and the 410 cab in the youth center in our church and I loved them. It's quite the large room comparable to most concert halls and these two cabs filled the room with great bass tone. So much low end coming from this 15 and the 410 was a perfect match for it. If your looking for great cheap priced cabs these are the way to go
