Most Bass for Your Buck

I've been playing this bass for nearly a year, and let me tell you, it is worth far more than what it's sold for. I ended up selling my Yamaha and Ibanez basses because this bass is just too comfortable for me to switch between the three. The Satin-finished C-shaped maple neck is perfectly contouured for the human hand, and it feels incredibly natural while playing. I did, however, replace the standard J-bass bridge with a Badass II and the J-bass Medium strings with some Blu-Sreels, but other than those two things, the bass comes fully equipped and ready for play.

I just got this for christmas and it's been treating me very well. Very easy to slap on, the neck is a little slow out of the box, but some polish usually fixes that. The only problem is the strings. Some Elixers or D'Addario's fix that. My personal pref is Ernie Ball Super Slinkys, thickest string being 110. And I have the Midnight Wine color, which is actually out of production by fender.

I walked in to the music store knowing I was going to buy a squier jazz bass but when I saw this is in sunburst it was a total inpulse buy. But worth it. The pickup are great but after a month they went bad and it took 3 weeks for it to get fixed. BUY IT.

Great Bass for the price

The bass is great to play. The only downside to the bass, is the bridge that comes with it. Buy the bass but replace the bridge. Pickups are great and the bass is fun to play

This bass is incredible. I mean, what can you expect but perfection from fender. Since its mexican, its obviously not well made as the american, but you can alter it to make it damn close. I suggest getting a Badass bridge, and getting the entire bass set up. I was told by my luthier, that it did not need replacement from the stock ones. And he was right, the sound gets better with the new bridge alone. Believe me, BUY THIS BASS.
