I bought this acouple weeks ago, and I cant help but love the sound. It keeps its tones even when you get it up to about top volume. I barely have to turn it up past half with all the sound that comes outta that 15". Alittle expensive, but worth the money.

Since I bought that Gallien-Krueger, I learned that you can have a brutal power on a small cabinet. I never thought that it will surprise me so much and i told my friends to buy another amp like this one, they test it and bought it.

I owned the GK 400RB/115 bass combo for a little over a year. I didn't have any problems with it, but I found its tone to lack character (which is cool if you want a transparent/clean tone), but I tend to prefer the rich/distinct sound of an Ampeg, Mesa Boogie, or even a Fender bass amp. I think that the GK combo overall was very versatile, and one of the better combo amps in its price range & plenty loud enough to keep up with a hard hitting drummer. It would be cool if the GK RB400 115 included some built in effects like of the newer Ampegs I've tried.
