Hardcore cab

This 4x10 is a real workhorse. I use a single one with a GK1001-II amp for small venue gigs and it simply smothers Marshall stacks if you want it to -- and that's with the amp volume at 4. Obviously the amp has something to do with that too, but this cab has never once gotten loose or muddy so matter how much I've tried to crank my GK head. I love how high the wattage rating is on this cabinet; not many half-stack cabs can boast this kind of power handling. You really never have to upgrade this cab, just add more of them!

I also appreciate the bi-amping that GK provides, complete with speakon connections, although you don't have to use them if you don't want to. This means you can get a clean horn with its own current protection -- both from the low wattage signal (50W) going to it and a variable resistor inside the cab protecting it from peaks.

These two features together provide an immense amount of protection against blowing your speakers -- so I can just plug it in, crank it up and get in the pocket.

It has four speakers, with tweeter, and handles at 800w. This is an awesome bass cab for clubs, and even practice with your band. Do you want to overpower the drum and the 400 watt electric guitar amp? Then you're in luck! It might not be the name brand you were looking for, or that favorite company you desire, but it's worth every little penny. All the other bass amps that are this good go for $1000, to $1500. But those don't even go up to 800w!!
