The Gallien-Krueger Goldline 410GLX Bass Cabinet is loaded with 4x10" Paragon Goldline aluminum cone loudspeakers designed and manufactured by GK. Goldline audio speakers are designed to deliver a rich, warm, golden tone with a little extra sparkle in the top end. Front slot-porting is used for enhanced low bass response. Special care has been taken in the cabinet design to eliminate standing waves so that nothing gets in the way of your performance. The result is a thick low-end with a smooth, even response across the entire frequency spectrum. The cabinet features black carpet coverings, recessed, spring-loaded handles, rugged steel grille, custom interlocking corners and removable casters.

I bought this cab to go with a Peavey Tour 450, and when plugged into it in my room, it sounded good, crisp, warm for aluminum cones, but once I started jammin, everything got money, it doesn't put out as much sound per watt as other cabs, and the sound breaks up really fast. Overall, I would suggest not getting this. It's not a good product, you should STAY AWAY!

For the price this cab can't be beat. This cab does not have the best low end but matched up with a 15 it will become the real deal. Great highs and mid and clean sound. I have it matched up with a ampeg 15 classic, 700rb2 head and play out of a 77 eb musicman stingray.

This is an awesome sounding and performing full range 4x10 bass speaker cabinet. I bought this to use as my smaller rig, as my other rig is huge and high end. I like how this bass cab is transparent sounding, and not muddy, while still delivering full range sound.
If you are having issues with this bass speaker cab, don't blame the cab, just learn how to pick a functional bass rig. A functional bass rig is one that has the rms output wattage of the bass amp properly matched up to the rms power handling of the bass speaker cab, and usually the difference should not be more than 100 watts rms either way. Remember ohmage also needs to be considered. An amp that outputs 300 watts at 4 ohms is outputing around 150 watts at 8 ohms. Underpowering a bass speaker cab is just as bad, if not worse than overpowering, and both destroy bass speakers. You should never have to run your amp's volume past noon.

I bought this cab with the GK Backline 600 amp, Shecter active bass.
I am a guitarist for 20 years, but decided to pick up the bass to join my best friend's new band. A lot of us have been there, yes? Lol.
The moment I hooked this thing up, I knew it was not going to deliver what I wanted--which was gut-rattling lows, let's face it. The speakers delivered horrible distortion, right away at volume.
My band (2nd band with current rig) does down-tuned, melodic death metal with a few breakdowns here and there, but the speakers can't handle it and the lows drop out and disappear. Occasionaly, the mids drop out, too.
In the past month I have blown 2 of the speakers(with the GK Backline 600 amp), and have become an angry man.
I attempted to correct this by purchasing 4 Eminence 200w 10"s and an Ampeg 400w 15" today. We'll see how that goes. Details to follow.
So, these speakers just can't do the lows of downtuned metal. Save your dollars for something else. You always get what you pay for, believe me.

I bought my 4x10glx almost 2yrs ago and this thing is a monster, paired with my Ampeg B5R head this thing thunders without loosing any tone. This sounds better and out preforms any other cab I have used in the past 15yrs hands down!!! The only thing is I had to replace the casters, factory ones were cheesy, broke right away. I recommend you snag one up, Heck buy two.
