The Neo 212-II bass cabinet from GK's Artist series is now lighter and smaller than ever before—is a front-ported cabinet housing 2 custom-designed cast-frame neodymium 12" loudspeakers which deliver high sound output at a fraction of the weight of conventional speakers. A Paragon horn tweeter delivers your top end with brilliance and clarity.

The Gallien-Krueger Neo 212-II performs beautifully, with consistent response from top to bottom, plenty of definition in the highs and midrange, and a fat low-end. It switches between standard full-range operation or biamped with GK's biamp system. Both Speakon-style and 1/4" connectors are provided. The Neo 212-II bass speaker cabinet is constructed from rugged 11-ply poplar, wrapped in heavyweight Tolex, and fitted with sturdy, interlocking corners and a 16-gauge steel grille. 600W power handling. 8-ohm impedance.

Great Cab

I bought this cab about 5 months ago and it has just been a joy! It really is a sweet rig with a 1001RB-II, and it cranks when you need it! My grill was a little loose upon arrival, but after unscrewing it and screwing it back on, the buzz went away. Great value for such a great piece of gear!

Well, I have had this cab for a few months now and am in love with it. With my 1001RB-II it is a great cab, and it's a lot of fun to be able to control your sound as much as you can with this setup. The only issue I have with this cab is that the grill is a bit loose, and it rattles sometimes when you play. It isn't enough to really worry about, and it doesn't rattle all the time, but it is something I would have liked to see fixed. Still a great buy though. Go GK!

This cab rumbles! Great lows. I have been using the GK Neo 212 cab with a Gallien Krueger 700RB head and an old Gibson EB-2D bass. The head itself is rated at 380w but this is plenty for this cab. It shakes the house and scares the dog. It exceeds my expectations totally. The bi-amp and full range feature on the amp do not limit you to a Gallien Krueger head. This is a plus if you own an Ampeg or a Fender Bassman head or any other brand that doesn't utilize a speakon conection. The neodymium speakers really make a differnce too. I'd much rather lug this around than some combo amps I've had. The quality is what I expected from GK, very well put together and solid construction. Very good value for the money!!

This cab sounds great though. I'm running it with a GK 1001-RBII and it just pumps out the sound. A great upgrade if your not used to GK's bi amping feature.
