I FELL IN LOVE

Well first off I want to say that I'm a woman with tiny hands. I bought my Slammer Bass because it was small and I thought I could handle it better then my big Fender. As soon as I started playing it "I Fell In Love!" not only is it beautiful, but the sound was melodious and true. I had also put on my new "Flatwound Strings" and they felt like silk on my fingers. What wonderful sound. The quality was perfect. I love it!

I can't believe how great this bass is

I love this bass. It was better out of the box than My Epiphone and Steinberger basses. I made tiny adjustments to the action and intonation. Has great pop in the high end on Funk material. It is so light and plays fast and clean. The neck is outatanding. I'm gonna get the red natural as a backup. One of the best purchases I've made in years.

I bought this "little bass" just to mess around with as a backup but was suprised at how well it sounds and plays. This bass is loud and the tone is great. The short scale is easy to play and the finish is outstanding. I used it for a 3 hour gig and it performed without a problem. Outstanding bass.

GREAT SHORT-SCALE BASS

I've been playing this honey for 3 years, and I'm delighted. It's well made and sounds great! All solid components, nicely put together. Remarkably full sound from its soapbar pickups, each of which has a distinct sound. One volume knob for each, and a really good overall tone knob--you can go from a full, round sound to slap. Quiet electronics. Good tuners that stay in tune. Fast neck. I love a full-size bass, but I have small hands for a bassist/guitarist. I can play easily on this bass, and don't feel compromised at all in overall sound--I can do so much more on this, and thus sound a lot better than on a full-size. My one modification (I've been playing bass 40 years): I searched around and got flat-round strings to replace the now typical round-wound, and this makes a huge difference, especially when I want a full, fat sound. Buy it--you'll be very pleasantly surprised with its sound and playability.

slammer SB4 four string bass

This little bass has excellent range of sounds. It really groans those low tones, and also speaks well in midrange and highs. Sturdy, well built and very comfortable to play. Fretboard is rosewood and quite fast. Begnner or pro, this is a good bass. Try it, you'll like it.
