Well first I am a big fan of Hamer products and the Velocity 2 is one nice piece. I only wish it was a neck thru but you can really feel the notes even as a bolt on next. The finish is beautiful. I got the one pictured. Tone!!! it will do what ever sound you want to do and some you didn't think were possible. The ash body is a little heavy but I feel it's balances well and plays great and the weight is to be expected because it's made out of ash. Neck feel is outstanding and last but not least the finish is drop dead beautiful. With the Hamer case you'll have a very nice piece. Like I always say try it you'll like it and now quit reading this a buy one!
