decent enough distortion

This pedals has a good distortion sound, no question, but lacks in the versatility department big time. Don't get me wrong, I use it all the time, but it's an all or nothing pedal. This is due to a lack of a blend knob. All you can do is control the volume, and who's turning down when it gets dirty, anyway? All the same, great tone, sturdy construction, and the bright setting will cut through with the muddiest bass.

I'M NOT A WRITER! I know it sounds super kool- there is no control for amount of distortion but the setting is perfect; not too much, not too little. BRMC type bass sound

Has a groovy boutique vibe. The only knob controls how loud you want to serve the blistering overdrive. Rich harmonics and some EQ variation with the selector switch. If it had a control for the amount of overdrive, instead of being an all or none stompbox, it would definitely be worth the price. You can turn the volume down on your bass to decrease the rage, but then sacrifice signal in the process. This is not the choice for bassists seeking a flexible overdrive.
