I got this bass for my birthday because I loved the acoustic sound and this bass looks great! I play it usually in church praise band. It has a great warm tone that is great with the mellow soft songs we do. The only problem I’ve had is feedback. I’m going to buy a sound hole cover to prevent that in the near future though. Overall, great looks and tone. Defiantly worth the money!

Soundwise this is right on par with Fender acoustic basses and any othe acoustic basses that aren't Taylor. I like the sound of this bass as much as if not better than some Martin acoustic basses I've tried. The Fishman pickup is a nice touch. I was a bit leery of the Ibanez preamp, but it sounds quite warm. Didn't notice a real problem with feedback, but the eq is there to eliminate that. If you're getting feedback with this bass, try adjusting the eq.

My only gripe is that this comes with the fact that it doesn't come with a case like the old ones did. The case and electronics made these well worth the price, but now, they're just decently priced.

This bass is pretty good for players who are making their first voyage into the acoustic realm. It's great for recording, feels nice, looks awesome, and sounds great both plugged in and purely acoustic. The only trouble I've had with mine is adjusting the action: the truss rod is incredibly stiff, and thus I get horrid fret buzz at the second fret. Other than that, this bass is excellent.

Not what you're really looking for...

I bought this bass on impulse. It really rumbled through a Fender Rumble 100, so I bought it. Over the 2 or 3 years I've owned it, I've decided that I'll keep it, but I'd never EVER buy another acoustic bass. By physics, it's just NOT LOUD ENOUGH. Can't hold it's own in an acoustic jam. Also, the electronics have let me down more times than I can count. The feedback can be ridiculous, and for some reason the battery connection just fades in and out so that you can't rely on it whatsoever. The tuner stays stuck on sometimes. The electronics just aren't reliable like a good ol' Jazz Bass. So don't think this is gonna be a sweet jack-of-all-trades bass. Definitely not. But I STILL LOVE PLAYING IT by myself, unplugged. The action is sweet, and the woody slappy tone inspires me like nothing else does. Yes, you CAN slap on it. Quite well actually, especially if you install the taller bridge piece that comes with it to fix the buzz. So there you have it. Acoustic bass is a totally sweet instrument to play, but the instrument itself is the most monumentally useless thing in the world. What a long friggin' comment. Worth it though.

I bought this bass to for when I go camping and it turned out to be one of the easiest basses to play. I had bought a dean and the body was to big so I couldn't play to well. This ws the acoustic bass I was looking for and is well worth the money. I recomend you buy it if you are looking for a non-expensive acoustic bass for any occasion.
