When I went to the guitar store where i live i wasnt even looking for an acoustic bass. I had just got some money and i was browsing, so i picked up this bass and the second i played this bass i was sold. It is such a playable bass, I am 100% satisfied. The neck is great, and the string spacing is too. I have had this thing for a couple of years and have had NO problems with it. The tuner is fairly accurate (id still recommend a normal tuner). And with good strings on it, it sounds perfect through any amp. DO NOT pay anymore money for a bass, it may seem a little low in the pricing, but it is the best acoustic ive played, ever.

This was my first acoustic bass, and I love everything about it. I've been playing for about 6 years now and play mostly metal, but when I want to go unplugged I always pull this out. The onboard tuner is accurate and highly convenient, and I love the variety of sounds you can get out of the ShapeShifter. There is minimal fret buzz in lower tunings (I play in C# standard a lot) but not enough to be a huge inconvenience. Plugged in to an amp this bass sounds smooth and smoky, and you can get pretty much any tone you want from the preamp. This bass is also gorgeous (I got the Dark Violin Sunburst) and I've gotten more compliments on the aesthetics than I can count. Definitely a fantastic bass for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go acoustic.

I've had this bass for a little over a year now and i could be happier. The action on the baby is amazing. The acoustic body provides exalt tone, and the pick up on it makes playing though an amp sound great, if not better. The only the i can conplain about is that the neck wood looks cheap. but none the less, you should diffently get this.

I was looking for a bass for acoustic shows my band has coming up. I tried out over a dozen and this bass was by far superior for the price! It was in tune right out of the box, tuner works great, and very good action. A little fret buzz on the low E string, but even the higher priced acoustic basses have that. For the price you will not find a better bass!!

I got this bass for my birthday because I loved the acoustic sound and this bass looks great! I play it usually in church praise band. It has a great warm tone that is great with the mellow soft songs we do. The only problem I’ve had is feedback. I’m going to buy a sound hole cover to prevent that in the near future though. Overall, great looks and tone. Defiantly worth the money!
