I bought this package almost 2 months because I wanted a bass so bad and cannot decide wich one; I have read all the review before deciding to buy this package, and out of all i just found like 3 negatives reviews I gave it a try. - it is a good bass - headphones work great - extra things that come in the package are good - dvd is good the only bad thing that i see here is - strings need to be change - the amp has to a bit of distortion - cable is a bit weak

but i give this bass 10 just some minor thing to be change and it wont kill your wallet, I recomend it for any beginner.

this package is perfect for beginners,maybe even guys who have played for a while.if you are just starting out this is perfect.If you want it for a great amp i would think twaice.But everything else is great.

This bass has worked wonders for me. I've had it for around two years. I learned everything I know on it. It's a pretty tough piece of hardware. It's been dropped, scratched, banged, you name it. Just recently it has started to die. The wires inside are fraying and the inputs are crappin out.

This is an excellent set. I got it for my birthday this year and it is super. I'd never played before so i wasn't sure what to get, in the end I went with this set. The only problems was that the cord got a short after about five months of use, and the strap broke in about a week. The pickups are great, it keeps its tune like an angel and the amp works just fine. All in all, if your just starting out this is the best there is.

This is a great beginner's package! I play guitar, but wanted a bass for something different. The bass itself is great, the amp sometimes has a buzz, that I think comes frome the bridge pickup. I like the separate volumes. The tuner doesn't work too great, though. I've heard the strings should be replaced, which is true of most stock strings. I think it has great tone, and would sound even better with new strings!
