This bass has incredible diversity in the pickups, getting a smooth bass tone out for jazz or slow jam, or a loud full sound for slap. This bass can do it all! It co-operates with my amps and pedals very well. Hard to find a better bass for your buckk anywhere!!!

This bass has some truly remarkable features, I bought mine about three days ago and it came in today, obviously I'm very impressed. It has good sustain, powerful pickups, and excellent harware in general. Besides the look and color (the picture of the red dosn't do this baby justice), the fret board is very smooth for a five string and the weight is nearly feather light compared to my old Fender. This bass is perfect for my style (see above)so if you play my kind of music you'll enjoy it. All in all a good buy for those of us who can't spare the money to buy a Rickenbacker or Warwick or even the 455QM, buy and understand the true craftsmanship of Ibanez.

Man oh man. This bass is killer. I got this in red for Christmas and when I picked it up I thought, 'This has got to be one of the lightest basses ever.' The neck is thin and fast and the tone control is outstanding. You have a whole pre-amp and a shape nob. The pickups aren't anything special but they do their job. There is nothing this bass cannot do. I love it, buy it.

This bass is excellent in all regards, the active pickups with 3-Band EQ make this bass good for all styles of playing.

The quality of sound is ten times better than the other basses I own, or have played.

This bass is worth every dollar, if you wanted a bass of this quality from another company expect to pay a lot more.
