This is my first acoustic bass, and it will probably be my last! Though other cheaper ones were also on my list, I decided to throw all of it in for this one, and I have never regretted it! It is definitely worth the extra dollar! This bass is PERFECT for church or praise & worship type settings, coffee house venues, or just to jam at home!

I have been playing Bass for many years and as far as sound and Quality goes This bass would be hard to beat for the price. I think this would be a great bass guitar for a beginner or a great 2nd guitar for a long time player. I love the low throaty sound I get out of it using the electrics built into the guitar, combined with the Marshall MBB Series 30 practice amp. The other person is right, without a pick it would be hard to play along with an acoustic 6 string.

I bought the Ibanez EWB20WNE Acoustic-Electric Bass 4 months ago. Overall it’s been a great addition to my collection. It looks great. Unplugged volume is limited, but when using a pic I can play against an acoustic 6- string. Without a pic it can't hang unplugged, but is a great practice instrument that allows me to get away from my rig. The action is higher than I am used to on my electric basses. That creates a little bit of a rattle, especially on the high end of the fret board. I took it to a bass guitar pro and he advised against adjusting the action down, so I have left it as it came out of the box. I bought this guitar as a practice instrument so I don't mind the higher action. It has helped me develop hand strength which has improved my playing on my electrics’. The onboard electronics are nice. Pick-up sounds good plugged in, onboard equalizer is cool, and I love the onboard tuner- that's awesome. I recommend it as a 2nd or 3rd bass, not as your only instrument.

Me and some of my friends were in a local music shop playing around with acoustics. I don't play acoustic, but my friend does, and i figured since i play bass it'd be relatively the same thing. It was great. Sounds great, looks great, it has a really nice finish. If i played acoustic, i'd buy it right off. Sounds great with an amp or without an amp. (i tried it both ways)
