My son bought this bass in May 08. We're still using it in 10/09. Plays great. The more I try other basses, the more I like this one. I use it in a church service on Sunday mornings, he uses it in his rock band every week, and we use it for various other jams. Tuning is very stable. Neck had to be adjusted once. Changed strings and we keep a rolling with it. The P and J bass pups allow you to cover a lot of tones with one bass. Nice finish on the body and neck. Wide enough string spacing for big fingers. No complaints other than I might prefer a more traditional (read: Fender) body style.

its a very good bass for the price. The pick ups get the job done, it sounds good. the only problem is it has quite a bit of fret buzz.

Tuning Plastic

I got this guitar less than a week ago and had a professional tuning my bass when the tuner broke. The wood was fine all he did was tune the g string from an f to a g when the tuner snapped in half. it seemed to be made of plastic. Tuners very cheap if you decide to get this bass I strongly recommend replacing all of the tuners immediatly.

I bought this bass about 6 weeks ago, I got the transparent cherry model. I've played fender basses for 20 years, and have never had one that played or sounded this good really. The action is just right, and the neck is slim and fast. Being short on funds with a family, etc, this will be just fine. It would be great for beginners or someone who doesn't have a lot to spend. I'm not disappointed with mine at all.

I got this bass just a few days ago for a back up bass.. I play in a band and do a lot of traveling and if your on the road or in a show and your bass messes up then your screwed so I had to get a second. I play a Lakland 55-01 so this bass is a far cry from that, but I have to give this bass props.. it is def a good bass. you should buy it!
