This bass is downright amazing. I have had it for 3 months now and I love it. I use my Line 6 Lowdown amplifier and it sounds great. You can use it for any genre of music, and the Active/Passive electronics have come to great use in my playing. I play bass in my school band, and everybody there loves the sound and look of the instrument. It is a complete must have if you are serious about the bass.

I bought this bass about 5 months ago, It was an amazing improvment from my squier j bass. I can play atleast 3 times as fast on this bass and the sound is perfect for me because I play alot of metallica. Great bass, good price, No complaints at all.

Upgraded to this bass from a little yamaha frettless number. sweet tone and awesome neck. when i got it originally, the volume knob did not turn. but they switched it out quickly and w/o hassle and it's a beautiful instrument. still trying to figure out the low B, this being my 1st 5string, but this thing looks and sounds great.

I owned a first ibanez branded bass the srx705 and it sounded great but the sr755 bass has far exceeded my expectations in terms of sound, look and feel. I love the plastic knobs on it its the first I have seen, I did have to adjust one of them. I have played many basses but to have this one as my own, I am grateful.

I've been playing bass for about 4 years now and got hooked on a 5-string a little over a year ago (I own a Peavey Millennium BXP 5). I've recently been looking to upgrade and fell in love with the SR series the instant I picked one up. The SR series neck is the most comfortable neck I've ever played, period. The Bartolini pickups are amazing and can create every tone I could ever want. I had been looking at the 505 too, but the walnut top on the 755 really brings out the popping and slapping end of things while the mahogany underneath caries the deep, warm lows. While I was playing the 755 in the music store, I picked up a Schecter Stiletto and Hellraiser for about 5 seconds and the 755 blew them away hands-down. Overall, this is the best bass I've played under the $1,000 mark. I definitely recommend it!
