Huge tone, even bigger value!

Alright! First review! I've had this bass for about a year. I was very, very picky when I bought this one. I wanted a bass with good slap, decent action and good tone. I say good because I was on a budget. What I got was great tone, the best slap, and the best action out of dozens of equaly and much higher priced examples. Fender failed, Schecter failed, ESP failed, only a $1600 Tobias rivaled this one. Plug in the 5 piece neck thru and sweet quilt top and there is no comparison!

I am an active musician and own a comercial studio. Been at it quite a bit longer than 20 years. I was looking for a personal bass that could also be used in the studio. The Ibanez SRX690DX used with a Peavey 220/115 combo gave me any sound, from the depth of classic country or gospel to the 2-10 highs of current pick or slap. To each his own, but I could not be more well pleased with this combination. The highs would not be possible from a 115 amp without the ability of a neck through and active product like the Ibanez. Go pick one up and play it for yourself. I do not pay for whistles and bells if they are not of value. Check it out.
