Nothing better for practicing

I've been using this amp for a little over a year and it has served me better than anything I could have bought for the price. It is absolutely not big enough however for a gig. You simply could not get it loud enough without risking the integrity of the speaker. Keep this thing in the bedroom and you'll be solid.

For only 65 Watts, this thing can blast! My band will be practicing and everything either has a mic on it, or the acoustic drums, or our guitarists, half stack and fender 100w guitar amp, this lil guy still held it's own. We just played a show at my school's auditorium and I did have to turn it all the way up, but it filled the whole Auditorium, handles all notes. Great Amp for beginners and intermediate.

I've had this amp for a few months, it sounds great if you have the volume on 3. It's a great practice amp, but the first show I played with it, my sound was killed by my guiatarist's half stack, and by trying to get loud enough, I blew my speaker. So be careful.

This is no doubt an amp you can build upon. If your using it just as an amp alone, it should be fine for small gigs. If a gig gets too big, you have a line out and use this amp close in as a Bass Monitor pointed straight at your face. The line out is what you want to make of it, Plug it into a Large System 1, 5, 10, 20 Thousand Watts and let it work for you just like the Pro Vets do. The Lower Stage Volume, Easier Mixing equals an Awesome Sounding Show.

This amp is nothing special. It is best if you are going for a deeper, smoother tone for light rock or pop and not for heavier rock. I would say it is worth the money, but you could probably spend a little more on an Ampeg and get more features.
