I own one of these and it kicks mucho butt. Built to stand up to the rigors of touring, all while looking cool doing it. The James Dean of uprights. I've had it just over 3 years or so, and I have beaten the living crap out of it without having to take it in for one single repair. I' not a small guy (6'4" 230 lbs) and I can stand on this thing without worrying about crushing it beneath me. Accoustically it is not that loud, but it is really designed to be plugged in, and that is where it shines. Less feedback than any other system I've tried and the tone of the sound itself is fantastic. I play this through an Ampeg SVT rig with some really loud bandmates and have hardly any problems. Rockabilly, punk, whatever you play this thing is the cadillac of touring basses. Bass guitars have evolved over the last few decades, and its about time us upright players get some technological upgrades too!! Kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for.
