Great Gig Rig

I've had this for over a year now and have to say I'm pretty pleased. The synth sucks horribly so if that's what your into, this isn't for you. Some people gripe about the weight but I was used to hauling around way heavier (and way more) stuff than this so I consider it pretty light. Also, it has a stricyl digital amp so you're not going to get that "warm" sound that you might expect from some other amps. Other than that, this thing is sturdy (trust me), has easy-2-use controls, pretty cool features (savable channels, effects, etc.) and a decent price tag. Overall, totally worth the minor comprimise in sound for the awesome portability and way-easy set up.

I must say at first I was a little disappointed when I first bought this amp. I didn't feel like I was getting the right tone, and it wasn't balanced. However I recently bought a Warwick corvette and ran it through a Sansamp bass driver. WOW!! This little amp kills. I'm glad I chose this over the BA 115. I personally like the ROCK setting with the DEEP feature.

Excellent amp for all bassists!

This is truly a great sounding amp for all styles of music. I would sit in front of my amp for hours on end just trying out all the different effects and sound combinations on it. Must say i was really taken by the synth. Sounds great! Its got some weight to it so lugging it around by the handles gets annoying at times. I run a schecter c-4xxx with three boss pedals (bass limiter enhancer, overdrive, equalizer) and i can get any sound i can think of. Good for medium sized venues and close quarters outdoors.

What bassist wouldn't want it.

I just joined a banned a few months ago, and needed an amp that would be loud enough that I wouldn't have to go through the PA system. I bought a Fender bassman 150, which don't get me wrong is a pretty good amp, but volume wise is no match for a Marshall JCM 2000, wich is what the guitar players use. So I took the amp back and got my LD 300 pro combo and was blown away. What bassist wouldn't want this amp. Its a very high quality amp with effects that will entertain you all day. This amp gets the job done period. I have to admit it was a little over my budget, but after playing it I had no regrets. So fellow bass guitarists, do not hesitate, buy this amp. You will be satisfied.

AMPEG sound at great price

This amp produces the best sound for the price. The only drawback is the lack of wheels (I also use a skateboard to transport). The Rock bass sounds the best and mimicks the AMPEG. Be sure and try out all the different sounds in the LINE 6 manual. Super Bass is the one I use.
