I received this pedal two weeks ago. I cant even describe how amazing this pedal is. It sounds amazing. The deep switch keeps your lows in place. Also, this pedal is loud. I use the volume up around 8:00. One con: this pedal doesnt mix with a dunlop 105q. But if you are getting a bass fuzz get this one.

This is a pretty good fuzz pedal. When using it with my Schecter Stiletto Studio on my Fender Bassman 250 it wails. Doesnt sound so good on my Fender P-Bass though. It delivers a very heavy distortion while keeping the bottom end. I would recommend opening it up and turning the deep switch down if you want to use it. Mine wasnt set on the factory settings like the instruction booklet said but after some adjustment it sounds fine. It also tends to sound a little fizzy and sounds better if you turn the treble or the tweeter down. But overall a pretty solid pedal. When I add my wah pedal to the mix I can get almost get that Cliff Burton sound.

Crunchy Fuzz

Excellent Bass Fuzz Pedal! Very crunchy and has plenty of midrange and upper midrange content. This is not a typical all lows and high end type of fuzz. This is a mean sounding fuzz. There is some feedback at higher settings, but muting the strings cures that. No extra noise whatsoever with this pedal. Can do the fuzz sound of Anesthesia - Pulling Teeth - Metallica.

Endless noise, completely disapointing. MXR's quality control totally dropped the ball on this one. Go with the MXR blow torch, it's more versatile and way better in quality.

Not worth it

I can't imagine an application for this pedal. If you need a pedal where the hum and noise it produces is louder when you aren't playing than when you are... this is the pedal for you. The effect is very thin and weak.
