Nice Cabinet

Played this cabinet for a while at a guitar shop. The tone is tight, punchy and focused but there is still some low end thud to it. The sound really fills up the room. I could see this used for jazz gigs, coffee shop gigs, and light rock settings with some p.a. support. I don't think this could handle 500 watts though. The cabinet was starting to rattle when I used a 300 watt head and turned the master up 2/3 (with the gain turned down pretty low). Still, if you have the cash and don't require alot of power, this lightweight cab has some audiophile worthy sound. A bass "luxury item"

Bought this as an ext. speaker for my MarkBass mini 1-12 combo. Dont let the small 6" speakers fool you. This 18" cube is tuned right with the rear reflex slot with no port "chuff". The duel combo jacks allow cable choice freedom and recessed top mount L-pad for the horn allows just the right amount of bite. A top recessed grab bar is all you need for its scant 33lbs. and is precisely balanced. Sounds like a small 15" with the punch and quick response of 10" speakers. Rated at 600 watts but sounds phenominal with much less. A real backsaver and more compact than a 2-10,1-15, and most single 12's. Highly recommend this for working musicians.
